Tablet Distribution Program (22-June-2024)

In the last few years, under the Digital India initiative of the Government of India, there has been huge success in bringing the delivery of services of various levels on an online platform. Under the aegis of Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living, it has now become easy for the people to get benefits in the form of online approvals/permissions and services from the government. Online classes by educational institutions and transfer of most of the businesses from manual to online platform is a proof that it is necessary to have online options to complete important tasks. For smooth conduct of social activities and taking advantage of online facilities, availability of appropriate tools is also essential.

To make the vision of Digital India a big success, Uttar Pradesh Government under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has launched the “DigiShakti Scheme” under which the State Government will distribute the Tablets and Smartphones (device) to the youth studying in the Educational Institutions of Uttar Pradesh, for their technical empowerment. In continuation to above a Tablet Distribution Program was organized in ABES Institute of Technology on 22nd June, 2006 under Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme, by Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The event took place in the college’s seminar hall, where students from the 2019–23 batch received tablets.

On this Occasion Dr. M. K. Jha, Director of Institute along with Dean Academics, Head of various Departments and Registrar has distributed Tablets to the students.
