Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering of ABEIT, Ghaziabad is organizing a Six Days Faculty Development Program on “Analog & Embedded Systems” from 17th July to 22nd July, 2017 which is supported and sponsored by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
The program was inaugurated by lightening of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Mr. Ashwin Dhingra, Managing Director, Macht Pvt Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Prof.(Dr.) Vipin Garg, Advisor, ABESIT, Prof.(Dr.) Bhavesh Kumar Chauhan, Director, ABESIT, Prof.(Dr.) Sapna Katiyar, Convener & Head (ECE & EEE) were also the part of the inaugural ceremony. Mr. Ashwin Dhingra focussed on the necessity of skilled engineers and youth in the current scenario in order to make India at par and even ahead of the Global leaders. He also stressed on the fact that it’s the teachers and their updated knowledge through such programs which will accomplish the mammoth task of training our current generation.
32 faculty members from 21 different institutes (ABESEC, IPEC, NIU, JRE, GNIOT, NIET, Accurate Institute, IIMT G. Noida, RKGIT, RKGITW, BBDIT, SDEC, RDEC Ghaziabad, IGDTU, Raffles University, G.B.Pant Gov. Engg. College New Delhi, BPSMU Sonipat, Vidya College of Engg., IIMT Meerut, Rajkiya Engg. College Bijnor) have registered for this FDP.
11:30 AM – 01:30 PM
The first speaker of Day 1 of this faculty Development program was Dr. Mukul Sarkar, Associate Professor, IIT Delhi. He delivered a talk on “Biasing of Analog Circuits”. He briefed the participants on very basic analog concepts and their necessity in order to understand this field.
02:30 PM – 04:30 PM
Evening session of Day 1 was delivered by Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Associate Professor, Gautam Budhha University. He enlightened everyone on the topic “Microprocessor and it’s Applications” in the post lunch session. He spoke about the need and evolution of processors and what can be researched and expected in the future in this domain.
