Day 3 (19th July, 2017): Faculty Development Program on “Analog & Embedded Systems”

Session 1: Dr. Sapna Katiyar (Associate Professor, ABESIT)

The session was started with an enlightening discussion about System design approach followed by basics of ASLK PRO kit (Texas Instruments) and TINA simulation software. “ASIC Design Flow & Verification”. The subsequent session involved hands on training on ASLK PRO kit and MSP430G2 Launchpad.

Session 2: Dr. Kunwar Singh (Assistant Professor, NSIT New Delhi)

This talk was delivered by Dr. Kunwar Singh on the topic “Optimization of Digital VLSI curcuits”, where he discussed about the various parameters and methods that are used widely to optimize the VLSI circuits on circuit level. He also briefed everyone about power optimization of circuits using various methods.
