In order to motivate students to excel in academics and encourage healthy competition for academic performance, Appreciation Letters are given to Top 10 students, Branch wise and Semester wise.
At the time of Convocation, University announces list of Top 20 candidates in each branch on the basis of 4 years performance. To make the students realize where they are standing in Academic Performance, their performance is calculated as per the norms of the University Merit List. Names of Top 5 students Year Wise i.e. after 1st Year, after 2nd Year, after 3rd Year are announced and they are given Certificate of Merit on College Foundation Day/ Teachers Day-5th September.
This has shown tremendous improvement in the score performance of the students because by doing so they can know where they are existing in reference to University Merit List. Therefore, they accordingly plan their efforts.
The Final Year students securing position or excelling in the University Final Result are felicitated in Convocation / ‘Luncheon with Chair’ where they are invited alongwith their parents. The students are awarded Cash Prize and medals as per the following criteria:
- Any student who has a final aggregate between 75% and 79.99% without any carry over or gap is awarded a cash prize of Rs.5100/-.
- Any student who has a final aggregate equal to or above 80% without any carry over or gap is awarded a cash prize of Rs.11000/-.
- Any student as per University norms if secures 1st ,2nd or 3rd positions Branch wise at the Institute level is awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal respectively. If such students score above 85%, then along with their medals they are awarded Rs.51000/-, Rs.31000/- and Rs.21000/- respectively.
- If a student on the basis of the final result is able to secure 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in the University Merit List, then the student is eligible for tuition fee waiver for all the four years of study.
