·    Promoting and encouraging student leadership within the IT department.
·    Collection of funds and the disbursement of student activity/event funds.
·     Recommending and approving the conduction of events.
·     Planning and coordinating events and to encourage students to participate in events.
·     Encouraging the students to participate at National level Tech-Fest and other technical events all around nation.
·     To provide a platform where the students can put their innovative efforts into real time projects.

Computer Society of India is the first and largest national body representing computer professionals. It has 72 chapters across India, 511 student branches, and 100,000 members. The Society has developed a well-established network of "Student Branches" all across the country.
Objective- to enhance the skills of students and technical professionals for developing and applying technology to improve global conditions.
The activities conducted for the students associated with the Society include lecture meetings, seminars, conferences, training programmes, programming contests and practical visits to installations.
The CSI Student Branches are mentored by Student Branch Counselor – typically a senior faculty member with good professional standing.
Total 56 students of IT branch are the members of CSI.
