Industrial Visit of ECE & EEE Students at C & S Electric Ltd., Noida

Department of ECE & EEE has organized an industrial visit to C & S Electric Ltd., Noida on 19th Feb 2018, where 35 students of 3rd year and 4th year have visited the plant. Prof.Suneel Agrawal and Prof.Vipin Sharma accompanied the students from the department. The purpose of the visit was to see the various stages involved in manufacturing of contactors and to learn about them. Students started their visit with the moulding section in the guidance of Mr. Amit (Engineer, C&S Noida). This section of the company is used to mould the various parts of a contractor using raw material with the help of CNC machines. Machine operators explain the specifications of rejected and final product coming out from the moulding section. In the second phase of this visit, students were guided by Mr. Sunil (Engineer, C&S Noida) in assembly area of the company. In this section, students have got the opportunity to see changeovers of different current rating and HRC fuse used in it. Live testing of the contactors was also seen by students in the last stage of this area where final product packed and ready to dispatch after quality assurance as per the norms. Overall, this visit proved to be a knowledgeable and fruitful for the students and helped them to understand the product in every stage of its manufacturing.
