Inauguration of Three Centers of Excellence in ABESIT

The following three Centers of Excellence have been inaugurated on 03.08.2017 by Dr. Praveen Saxena, CEO, Skill Council for Green Jobs, GOI, Mr. Volker Schmid, Head of Asia Pacific, Festo Diatic SE, Germany, Mr. Harish Nachnani, National Sales Manager, Festo India Pvt Ltd., Bangalore, Mr. Mehta SD, Director Entuple Technologies Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.

• Festo Germany Center of Excellence in Automation Technology – Pneumatic Systems
• Center of Excellence for Power Electronics & Drives, a seat of AKTU, Lucknow
• Entuple Center of Excellence for ANSYS Mechanical

On this occasion Prof. (Dr.) Sampath V., Associate Dean, AKTU, Mrs. Minal Singh, Regional Lead, Northern India, IT Sector Skill Council, Nasscom, Mrs. Radha Alekhya, CEO iB Hubs, Gurgaon, Mr. Rambabu Kondru, Chief Financial Officer, iB Hubs, Gurgaon and Mr. Pravek Saxena, CEO, Smalt & Baryl Pvt Ltd. were also present from corporate sector.

Dr. Praveen Saxena shared his vision on developing & developed India while Mr. Volker focused on automation in manufacturing sector world wide.

An Expo Trainer Van was also showcased to the students of B.Tech. Third & Final ME, EEE & ECE students which helped them to witness the live applications of automation in Industry.
