Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an Interactive session for the 4^th year students of ECE on the topic “IoT Security” on 12^th April 2019. Ms. Shiwani Aggarwal, a Principal Design Engineer from Hughes Systique, Gurugram started with the basic knowledge about Embedded Systems as well as IoT. Several Applications and use cases in the above domains were discussed. Practical applications, scope of Embedded Systems & IoT in the modern era was also thoroughly covered by the speaker. The speaker also focused on the importance of security and protection in this field, especially in IoT. Several hacks and use cases related to the security aspects of IoT were also discussed. The session was attended by about 50 ECE students.
