Student team VAIROCANA using ANSYS in design validation of roll cage in Electric Solar Vehicle Championship, 2016
(ESVC-2016) and also using ANSYS for ESVC-2017
Team VAIROCANA comprising of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering students of ABESIT participated in Asia’s largest solar event – Electric Solar Vehicle Competition (ESVC) 2016, a solar automobile design and manufacturing championship organized by Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers. A total of 176 teams participated in the event at All India level, where team VAIROCANA secured 13th rank and an appreciation award. During this competition, for the outstanding performance, two students of ABESIT, Ms. Prachi Sharma and Mr. Samai Vashitha of Team VAIROCANA got placed in Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIE), Punjab and DCM Engineering Limited, Punjab.
Student team THE HAWKS using ANSYS in design validation of roll cage in Elite Go-Kart (EK-15) Racing Championship 2016
Team Hawks of Mechanical Engineering students participated in Elite Go-Kart Racing Championship 2016 organized by Elite Techno Group, Jaipur. Out of 181 teams from 57 different cities, team Hawks qualified in the top 61 for final manufacturing round.
Finally, ABESIT team THE HAWKS was judged in top 28 teams after clearing all the tests of final round.
