Center for Advanced Robotic Control for Industrial Automation
Indo-Euro Synchronization is an initiative to connect India and Europe closer together and APS GmbH – European Centre for Mechatronics located in Aachen, Germany is focusing on research and development, industrial-driven engineering projects, training and education, as well as transfer of advanced technologies. The core technologies are mechatronics, robotics, ICT, embedded systems, industrial communication and human-machine interaction.
Three batches of 40 students from Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering were trained by German experts through Skype Sessions and by ABESIT faculty who had gone to Germany for taking training on Robotics Control for Industrial Automation.
Students at ABESIT work on industrial real problems like fitment of glass sheets on train window and fitment of suspension elements on car underbody and write codes and test by simulation using ABB Robot Studio software, which is further applied to the Real Robot available at APS GmbH-European Center for Mechatronics, Germany.
Our students are working on Robot Studio Software and virtually implementing the projects on robot placed at APS GmbH-European Center for Mechatronics, Germany
Visit of our students in Germany to Autosol 2016 Program
Two meritorious students, Ms. Amrita Yadav, Final Year B.Tech. (IT) and Mr. Ankit Kumar Singh, Pre-Final B.Tech. (ME) who attended Advanced Robotic Control (ARC) training in ABESIT were sponsored to attend the Autosol 2016 program in Germany from 22nd Feb 2016 to 3rd Mar 2016. In this program, they got full-fledged knowledge on Automobile / Automotive Engineering, attended seminars on current Research, and participated in Industrial Visits and Trade fair visits.
